Help ensure that all youth have access to balanced and healthy meals during summer vacation! Volunteers are needed to prepare meals in the kitchen at Chimacum Elementary School, for distribution throughout East Jefferson County. Meals are provided free of charge to youth under 18, no registration required. If you are interested in social responsibility, nutrition, cooking, or simply helping your community, we would love to have you as a volunteer! This opportunity is for people age 16 and older. No cooking experience required.
Shifts are in the kitchen at Chimacum Elementary School from 8am to 10am (approximate end time), Monday through Friday until August 17th. There is no minimum time commitment to volunteer: sign up for one day, two days, one week, or all summer, whatever works best with your schedule!
