I started a successful software services company in Portland in 2008 and sold it in 2010. Part of the sale was for me to stay with the company and build a solid engineering team. I did this for 3 years and put together a top notch team of 13 people at it's peak. It was a good adventure and I really enjoyed learning how to find and organize great people. From 2008 to 2013 I got to experience the whole gamut from sales, contracts, technology, and stocking the office fridge.

Not too long after college, I moved to Portland OR in 2000 to get into software. I got a really good entry level job and worked my way up on the engineering team at CollegeNET. It was a great experience with lots of great geeks. I learned a lot about various software languages for Bask scripting, java, .NET desktop applications and web development. It was a great tour of various technologies and connected me with a really cool community of geeks.
