You have indicated an expertise in Business Creation and Administration
I have over seven years of direct experience in business administration and human resources. I previously operated a small, local business with my mother for five years in Port Townsend. Additionally, I developed the current Rhododendron Festival Royalty Candidate training program in 2004 and oversaw the training and mentoring of candidates for 12 years as a volunteer. In the program, candidates receive training in interview skills, public speaking, speech writing, impromptu speaking, personal presentation and social media's impact on college and job application processes.
You have indicated an expertise in Retail, Hospitality, and Tourism
Prior to switching my occupation to business administration, I primarily worked in retail. I have held jobs in the restaurant industry, worked retail in jewelry shops, clothing and home stores, a gallery, and operated a craft store with my mom. I have also held teller positions at two financial institutions.
You have indicated an expertise in Social Services and Non Profit
I have worked in the non-profit sector for over four years at the YMCA of Jefferson County.
