Briefly describe the program, volunteer work, or partnerships you or your organization may offer.
I am comfortable in a variety of roles, wherever I might best suit the students.

While attending college in New York City, I had a partial scholarship at Alvin Ailey School of American Dance, and I danced with a small dance company in Austin, TX while attending graduate school.

My bachelor's and first master's degree were in engineering, and I taught Math 100 at the college level (a class intended for people who didn't place into Math 101).

I became a certified teacher of yoga in 2006 and taught part-time in 2006-2007 and 2009-2011.

I then became a full time college professor, where I taught Student Success (a college-focused life skills class) and Critical Thinking and Analysis. While teaching college, I worked with the theater program at the local junior high, choreographing and co-directing their productions.

Last year I completed my second master's degree in creative writing.

I am comfortable working with students in any capacity that touches on math and science, dance or performing arts, or creative writing.
