Typography is my area of expertise. I have been involved for 25 years in the manufacture and design of digital typographic solutions world wide including specific projects for Microsoft, Google, and Amazon. From the details of typographic aesthetic to the complexities of Unicode and OpenType formats - I have played with it all.

Each year I take on a new entrepreneurial mentorship. This is someone who wants help crafting a business plan, working though creating a funding strategy, or just helping keep their feet to the fire as they work toward realizing their dreams. I have started and been a part of several venture funded start ups. I have worked in large corporations and also small coffee house offices.

My experience with digital publishing goes back to the dawn of desktop publishing with the advent of PageMaker software (now called InDesign) and Aldus Corporation (now owned by Adobe Systems). I serve on the board of Swift Media, a small communities news publishing company with over 25 publications throughout the west. I was instrumental in creating the New York Times reader software for Adobe in 2010.
